Cut the chicken thigh meat into large cubes and crush the garlic.
Mix the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, cumin, half of the salt, and black pepper.
Add the chicken to the marinade and refrigerate for 3 hours.
Grate the cucumber, squeeze out its juice, and mix it with the yogurt and remaining salt.
Thread the chicken onto skewers.
Heat a grill pan and cook one side of the skewers for 8 minutes until colored.
Turn the skewers, cook for 8 minutes more, and serve with pita bread and yogurt sauce.
