Chop the onion and turn it in the pot with the chicken for 8 minutes.
Rinse the rice and add it to the pot.
Stir the rice with the chicken fat for 2 minutes.
Add the hardaliye and hot water, then close the lid.
Cook the dish for 20 minutes without opening the lid so the rice does not harden.
Rest the kapama for 10 minutes and serve the chicken over the rice.
