Mix the warm milk, yeast, and egg in a wide bowl.
Add the vegetable oil, melted butter, and salt.
Add the flour gradually and knead a soft dough.
Cover the dough and let it rise for 45 minutes.
Tear off palm-size pieces of dough and shape them into short cylinders.
Arrange the fetir on a tray and let them proof there for 15 minutes.
Brush the tops with egg yolk.
Bake in a 180°C oven for 23 to 25 minutes, until browned.
💡 Tip: Do not knead the dough too stiff; a milk dough that stays slightly tacky will not dry out in the oven.
