Boil the sago pearls in plenty of water until half translucent, then drain and rinse.
Cut the sweet potato and taro into large cubes.
Put the water, pandan leaves, and sweet potato in a pot and cook for 8 minutes.
Add the taro cubes and continue cooking until the root vegetables are tender.
Add the coconut milk, sugar, salt, and sago, then heat without boiling.
Remove the pandan and divide the sweet soup into warm or cold bowls.
