Soak the black rice in plenty of water for 6 hours.
Drain the rice and put it in a pot with the water and pandan leaves.
Cook the rice for 45 minutes, until tender.
Add the palm sugar and half the salt.
Stir the porridge for 10 minutes, until glossy and thick.
Warm the coconut milk with the remaining salt for 4 minutes.
Spoon the porridge into bowls, drizzle with coconut milk, and serve.
