Wash the wheat and put it in the pot.
Cook the wheat with hot water for 35 minutes.
Chop the beet finely and add it to the pot.
Cook the beet mixture for 30 minutes, stirring so the wheat does not stick to the bottom of the pot.
Add the lemon juice and rest for 5 minutes.
When serving the keskek, lift the beet section from underneath so the wheat does not stick to the bottom.
💡 Tip: Cutting the beet small gives the keskek a more even color.
