Set the sandwich bread on the counter and slice or grate the kashar cheese thinly.
Spread a thin layer of butter on the outside of the bread; sprinkle oregano and black pepper on the inside.
Place beef ham on one bread slice, add the kashar cheese, and close with the second slice.
Cook in a sandwich press or nonstick pan over medium heat for 6 minutes until both sides are golden and the cheese melts completely.
Cut diagonally, place on a plate, and serve hot with orange juice.
💡 Tip: Butter the outside of the bread, not the inside. Slice the cheese thinly so it melts evenly without spilling.
🍽️ Serving suggestion: Cut the hot sandwich diagonally and serve with orange juice or coffee.
