Soak the salt cod in plenty of water for 24 hours, changing the water several times.
Boil the fish in fresh water for 8 minutes and break it into large pieces.
Slice the potatoes into rounds and boil for 12 minutes, keeping them slightly firm.
Soften the onions and garlic in olive oil for 8 minutes.
Layer the potatoes, fish, and onion mixture in a baking dish.
Bake the dish in a 190°C oven for 22 minutes, until browned.
Serve with egg slices, olives, and parsley.
