Shell the fresh peas, then wash and drain them.
Dice the onion, and cut the carrot and red capia pepper into small cubes.
Heat the olive oil in a pot, fry the onion for 2 minutes, then add the carrot and red capia pepper and cook for 4 more minutes.
Add the tomato paste and fry until fragrant, then season with salt and black pepper.
Add the peas and hot water to the pot, cover, and cook until tender.
Finely chop the dill, add it to the dish, rest for 5 minutes, and serve.
💡 Tip: If the pea pods are very tough, use only the peas inside and reduce the cooking water by half a cup.
