Rinse and drain the rice.
Put the milk and water in a pot, and add the rice when it is close to boiling.
Cook the rice for 18 minutes, until tender.
Finely chop the onion and saute it in olive oil for 6 minutes, until lightly pink.
Whisk the egg, flour, and half a tea glass of water until smooth.
Warm the liaison by adding hot soup liquid little by little.
Stir the liaison and sauteed onion into the soup.
Cook the soup over low heat for 5 minutes, then finish with salt and black pepper.
