Rinse 0.75 cup green lentils and boil them in 5 cups of water for 15 minutes.
Cook 1 onion and 1 tablespoon tomato paste for 3 minutes.
Add the tomato paste mixture to the lentils and boil for 2 minutes.
Add 1 cup of noodles and cook for 8 minutes.
Take the pot off the heat and rest for 4 minutes so the noodles do not become mushy.
💡 Tip: Adding the noodles near the end prevents the soup from thickening too much.
