Let the yeast, sugar, and warm water stand for 8 minutes.
Prepare a soft dough with the flour, yogurt, salt, and yeasted water.
Rest the dough for 35 minutes, until risen.
Heat the oil to 175°C.
Drop small pieces of dough into the oil with an oiled spoon.
Fry the ustipci for 4 to 5 minutes, until golden.
Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
💡 Tip: Do not make the dough too stiff; a heavy spoonable dough fries with a soft center.
