Cut lids from the tomatoes and peppers and hollow them out.
Mix the rice, chopped vegetable interiors, olive oil, and salt.
Fill the vegetables two-thirds full so the lids do not burst as the rice swells.
Arrange the stuffed vegetables tightly in a baking dish and close their lids.
Add a little hot water and olive oil to the bottom of the dish.
Bake the dolmas in a 190°C oven for 45 minutes.
💡 Tip: Do not pack the vegetables too tightly; the rice needs room to open.
🍽️ Serving suggestion: Serve warm with lemony arugula and olive oil potatoes.
