Boil the sugar and water for 10 minutes, add the molasses, and let the syrup become warm.
Knead a soft dough with butter, tahini, flour, and baking powder.
Fold the walnuts into the dough and press it into a greased pan.
Cut the dough into diamond shapes.
Bake the dessert at 180°C for 30 to 35 minutes until browned.
Drizzle the warm syrup over the dessert as it comes out of the oven.
Rest the nevzin for 30 minutes until it absorbs the syrup.
💡 Tip: Pouring warm syrup over the warm dessert lets it absorb without falling apart.
