Heat the grape molasses, water and sugar in a small saucepan for 5 minutes to make the syrup.
Melt the butter in a wide pan.
Add the flour and roast over low heat for 18 to 20 minutes.
Gradually add the hot molasses syrup to the flour, stirring constantly.
When the mixture comes together and turns glossy, remove it from the heat.
Sprinkle walnuts on top and serve warm.
