Spread the thick batter into an oiled mold and smooth the surface.
Chill the mold for 45 minutes so the batter firms up.
Slice the panisse dough into finger-thick pieces.
Heat the vegetable oil to 175°C and fry the slices for 4 minutes until crisp.
Chop the parsley, slice the lemon, and serve with the panisse.
