Divide the dough into balls and rest for 15 minutes.
Slice the onion into thin half-moons and soften it in the pan for 5 minutes.
Mix the cooled onion with the cheese, tahini, and black pepper.
Roll the dough into an oval and spread the filling in a thin layer.
Close the edges so the tahini filling does not run out in the oven.
Bake the pide in a 210°C oven for 18 minutes.
💡 Tip: Softening the onion briefly before using it gives the pide a sweet depth.
