Place the tart shell in the pan and prick it with a fork.
Parbake the base in a 190°C oven for 10 minutes.
Mix the brown sugar, flour, and salt.
Add the cream, eggs, and vanilla and whisk until smooth.
Stir the melted butter into the filling and pour it into the crust.
Bake the tart in a 180°C oven for 26 minutes, until the edges set.
Rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
