Boil the almonds for 8 minutes and peel them.
Dry the almonds and process them with powdered sugar, cinnamon, orange blossom water, and butter.
Cut the phyllo into long strips and lightly brush with melted butter.
Place the almond filling on the strips and fold tightly into triangles.
Heat the oil to 170°C and fry the briouats for 3 minutes, until golden.
Warm the honey in a small pot and dip the fried pastries in it for 2 minutes.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve warm or at room temperature.
💡 Tip: Folding the triangles tightly keeps the almond filling from escaping during frying.
🍽️ Serving suggestion: Serve with mint tea and lightly toasted sesame seeds.
