Mix the warm milk, yeast, and 1 tablespoon of the sugar and let stand for 8 minutes.
Combine the flour, remaining sugar, cardamom, and salt in a bowl.
Add the yeasted milk, egg, and melted butter, and knead a soft dough.
Let the dough rise for 60 minutes.
Divide the dough into 10 pieces, roll them, and rest on the tray for 20 minutes.
Bake at 190°C for 14 minutes.
Cut lids from the cooled buns and fill them with almond paste and whipped cream.
Replace the lids and serve with powdered sugar.
💡 Tip: Do not fill the buns with cream before they are completely cool, a warm surface deflates the cream.
