Grate the carrots with a large grater to get a coarse consistency.
Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the carrots for 8 minutes until they soften.
Crush the garlic and chop the walnuts coarsely.
Cool the sautéed carrots completely.
Mix strained yogurt, garlic, salt and pepper.
Mix carrots, walnuts and dill with yogurt and place on a serving plate.
💡 Tip: Cooling the carrot completely before combining it with the yogurt will not dilute the appetizer.
🍽️ Serving suggestion: Sprinkle olive oil and large walnuts on top and serve with toasted bread.
