Soak the apricots in warm water for 8 minutes so they can be opened without tearing.
Break the walnuts coarsely and gently open the inner pockets of the apricots.
Fill the apricots with walnuts and warm them in the pan for 4 minutes so the inside does not stay dry.
Let the dessert cool for 10 minutes so the kaymak does not run when added to the filling.
Add the kaymak and honey just before serving and finish with walnuts.
💡 Tip: Do not boil the apricots too much; their centers need to stay intact enough to be filled.
🍽️ Serving suggestion: Serve warm with coffee or tea on the side.
