Put the chicken, onion, ginger, garlic, and salt in a pot.
Add the chicken stock and cook for 25 minutes.
Loosen the peanut butter with 1 cup of hot chicken stock.
Add the tomato puree and loosened peanut butter to the pot.
Thicken the soup over low heat for 25 minutes.
Add the chili pepper and cook for another 5 minutes.
Serve hot with the chicken pieces.
