Boil the sugar and water for 12 minutes, add the lemon juice, and cook for 3 more minutes.
Set the syrup aside to become warm.
Melt the butter and vegetable oil together.
Lay two phyllo sheets on top of each other, brush lightly with fat, and sprinkle with walnuts.
Roll the phyllo around a rolling pin, pleat from both sides, then curl it into a ring.
Arrange the rolls in a tray and drizzle the remaining fat over them.
Bake the dessert at 180°C for 35 minutes, until browned.
Pour the warm syrup over the hot dessert and rest for 20 minutes.
