Grate the potatoes and drain them well; finely grate the onion.
Mix the drained potatoes, grated onion, twarog, egg, flour, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl until you have a soft batter.
Heat the sunflower oil in a wide pan over medium-high heat.
Spoon 2 tablespoons of batter into the pan and spread it, then fry the first side for 4 minutes until crisp and golden.
Turn the pancakes and cook the other side for 3 more minutes; transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil.
Transfer the hot pancakes to a plate.
Top them with sour cream, scatter dill over them, and serve hot.
