Boil the sugar and water for 12 minutes, add the lemon juice, and set the syrup aside to become warm.
Mix the butter, yogurt, and vegetable oil, then add the flour, semolina, and baking powder and knead a soft dough.
Pinch off walnut sized pieces of dough, press them on a sieve or the back of a grater, and place walnut filling inside.
Close the dough pieces and arrange them on a tray with the patterned side up.
Bake the pastries at 180°C until both the bottoms and tops are browned.
Pour the warm syrup over the hot pastries and wait 25 minutes for them to absorb it.
