Boil the rice for 10 minutes, then drain.
Trim the membranes from the beef liver and process it until smooth.
Soften the onion for 5 minutes with half of the butter.
Whisk the milk, eggs, molasses, salt, black pepper, and allspice.
Add the liver, rice, onion, and raisins to the milk mixture.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and dot the top with the remaining butter in small pieces.
Bake in a 175?C oven for 45 minutes, until the center is set.
