Cut the chicken breast into 2 cm cubes and season with salt and black pepper.
Melt the butter in a wide pan and cook the finely chopped onion over medium heat for 4 minutes, until lightly pink.
Add the crushed garlic and turn for 30 seconds; add the chicken cubes and saute over high heat for 5 minutes, until all sides are sealed.
Pour in 2 cups hot water, cover and cook over low heat for 8 minutes.
Add the noodles and stir; if needed, add half a cup of hot water, then cook covered for 5 more minutes.
Add the cream and thicken over low heat for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Turn off the heat, sprinkle with finely chopped dill, rest for 2 minutes and serve hot.
💡 Tip: Cream can split over high heat, so lower the heat and stir constantly. Add the dill after the heat is off so its aroma does not fade.
🍽️ Serving suggestion: Add cucumber-yogurt salad, mizeria, and a slice of rye bread on the side.
